Heatherwood Drive over Lake Sherwood Tributary Culvert Replacement (between South Duck Lake Road and Ford Road)
The Heatherwood Drive culvert that carries the Lake Sherwood tributary, located between South Duck Lake Road and Ford Road in Commerce Township, will be replaced. The culvert work will require the road to be closed over the Lake Sherwood tributary. Residential access will be maintained on both the east and west sides of the work.
PROJECT INFORMATION:
The approximate $787,000 project is funded by the Road Commission for Oakland County.
The project includes:
Removal of the twin corrugated metal pipe arch culverts.
Replacement with an 18-foot by 7-foot precast box concrete culvert.
Asphalt paving in the vicinity of the culvert.
New curb and gutter in the vicinity of the culvert.
New guardrail.
Minor drainage improvements.
