Here's how to participate
In accordance with state law, the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) Board of Road Commissioners is conducting its meetings electronically via conference call to reduce the risk of sharing the coronavirus (COVID-19). Members of the public may participate in the meetings via telephone rather than in person.
Members of the public may express comments or ask questions during the meetings. For the Dec. 10 meeting, those wishing to participate should call 810-337-8118. They should then enter conference ID number 248 522 587# (must include the "#" sign).
.
Individuals wishing to comment during the meeting – either on a specific agenda item or under the “Public Comments” section of the agenda, must first submit a completed “Request to Speak” form. The form is available here. The form is also available in the “Helpful Links” section at the bottom of the home page and on the Board meeting agendas page.
The agenda for the meeting is available at the Agenda Center on the RCOC website (click on the “About Us” tab at the top left of the home page -- Agenda Center is the first item under this tab).
As is the case at all RCOC Board meetings, public comments will be limited to no more than five minutes and obscenities or inappropriate language will not be tolerated. Members of the public wishing to speak on a specific agenda item will be invited to speak by the Board chairman once the item has been introduced and a motion made and seconded but before a vote has been taken.
Anyone wishing to address an item not on the agenda will be invited to speak during “Public Comments”, which is typically agenda item No. 4.
