10 Mile Road Culvert Replacement over Rouge River (east of Middlebelt Road)

The West Ten Mile Road structure, which carries the Rouge River, just east of Middlebelt Road in Farmington Hills, will be closed for replacement. The 59-year-old culvert will be replaced with a pre-cast concrete culvert.  

PROJECT INFORMATION:

The $1.38 million project includes:

  • Remove the existing structure that carries the Rouge River.
  • Replace with a precast concrete culvert.
  • Asphalt paving in the vicinity of the structure.
  • Removal of existing boardwalk.
  • Sidewalk improvements.
  • Water main relocation.
  • New signage and pavement markings.
