UPDATE: FLEMINGS LAKE ROAD CLOSURE AT SASHABAW ROAD IN INDEPENDENC TWP HAS BEEN MOVED TO JUNE 21-JUNE 22 DUE TO WEATHER
Beverly Hills, MI -- The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close Flemings Lake Road at Sashabaw Road in Independence Township on June 21-June 22 for storm sewer installation under the road.
The detour for traffic is Clarkston Road to Wyngate Drive to Oakstone Drive, back to Flemings Lake Road and vice versa.
The original dates for the closure were June 20-June 21.
The work continues to be weather-dependent and the closure dates could change.
The closure is part of the Sashabaw Road widening project from I-75 to Clarkston Road that will continue until late fall of 2019.
