The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit to the Village of Milford to close Old Plank Road from Dawson Road to Old Plank Court starting Monday, July 7, through Friday, July 11, to help facilitate a village resurfacing project on Garden Road.
During the closure, the detour route will be Old Plank Road to Dawson Road to South Hill Road/Main Street and vice versa.
Residential access along the closed section of Old Plank Road will be maintained.
This section of Old Plank Road carries approximately 640 vehicles daily.
Questions regarding the resurfacing work on Garden Road should be directed to the Village of Milford.
