The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit to the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office (OCWRC) to close eastbound 13 Mile Road at the southeast corner of Orchard Lake Road in Farmington Hills, from Monday, June 23, through Monday, June 30, to facilitate sanitary sewer repairs.
The eastbound 13 Mile Road traffic detour is Orchard Lake Road to 12 Mile Road to Middlebelt Road, back to 13 Mile Road.
Westbound 13 Mile Road at Orchard Lake Road will remain open to traffic during the work, but will be reduced to one lane.
This eastbound section of 13 Mile Road carries approximately 8,200 vehicles daily. For questions about the work, contact the OCWRC at 248-858-0958.
