The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) in partnership with Commerce Township, will close West Commerce Road from Carroll Lake Road to just east of Broadway Street starting Saturday, June 14, through Sunday, June 15, to facilitate a bicentennial event for Commerce Village.
During the closure, the detour route will be Carroll Lake Road to Wise Road to North Commerce Road, back to West Commerce Road and vice versa.
West Commerce Road will reopen to traffic on Sunday, June 15.
This section of West Commerce Road carries approximately 13,000 vehicles daily.
