The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) is hiring seasonal laborers for 10-12 weeks at a wage of $17.50 per hour.
The positions provide valuable seasonal employment opportunities and allow RCOC to maximize its road maintenance program during the late spring and summer months. Season positions will start either May 27 or June 9.
Positions are available at RCOC facilities located throughout Oakland County.
"These jobs are a great way to get hands-on experience, work outdoors and make a real difference in your community," said RCOC Managing Director Dennis Kolar. "Seasonal laborers are a key part of our team, helping us keep roads safe during the busiest time of the year."
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Minimum age of 18.
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
