Pamar Enterprises Inc., of New Haven, will close the intersection of Kent Lake Road and Silver Lake Road in Lyon Township to facilitate sanitary sewer work for a Lombardo Homes development from Aug. 8 through Sept. 1.
The work is being done under a permit issued by the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC).
The detours for the Kent Lake Road Silver/Lake Road intersection closure are:
- For traffic wishing to travel from Silver Lake Road to Kent Lake Road or vice versa: Kensington Road to Grand River Avenue to Kent Lake Road or vice versa.
- For traffic wishing to access Silver Lake Road from Pontiac Trail east of Kent Lake Road: Pontiac Trail east to New Hudson Drive north to Grand River Avenue west to Kensington Road south to Silver Lake Road.
The Kent Lake Road/Silver Lake Road intersection carries approximately 14,290.
