The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will close Square Lake Road between Beechview Lane and Middlebelt Road in West Bloomfield Township for culvert replacement beginning Thursday, October 27. The road is expected to fully re-open on October 29.
The detour for the closure is Middlebelt Road to Orchard Lake Road to Telegraph Road (US 24) back to Square Lake Road and vice versa.
The culvert replacement is being done the RCOC Highway Maintenance staff and a private contractor.
Square Lake Road carries approximately 5,600 vehicles daily.
