The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit to Canadian National (CN) Railway to close the Brown Road/Joslyn Road intersection on the Auburn Hills/Orion Township border from Monday, Aug. 11, through Sunday, Aug. 24, for railroad crossing repairs.
During the closure, the detours are as follows:
- Joslyn Road: Waldon Road to Baldwin Road to Walton Boulevard, back to Joslyn Road and vice versa.
- Brown Road: Giddings Road to Waldon Road to Baldwin Road, back to Brown Road and vice versa.
The Brown Road/Joslyn Road intersection carries approximately 40,600 vehicles daily.
