The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit to the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office (OCWRC) to close 10 Mile Road, from Lahser Road to Telegraph Road (US 24), starting Saturday, Feb. 22, through Thursday, Feb. 27, to facilitate sanitary sewer pipe installation.
The closure is from just west of Larges Drive to Berg Road. During the work, residential and business access will be maintained.
The detour for through traffic is Berg Road to Civic Center Drive to Lahser Road, back to 10 Mile Road and vice versa. This section of 10 Mile Road carries 20,460 vehicles daily.
