The Road Commission for Oakland Country (RCOC) has issued a permit to the City of Wixom to close Pontiac Trail between Wixom and Old Wixom roads for a one-day community event on Saturday, Sept. 21.
During the closure, the detour route for traffic is Wixom Road to Old Wixom Road, back to Pontiac Trail, and vice versa.
The road is expected to reopen late on Saturday, Sept. 21. The closed section of Pontiac Trail carries approximately 10,810 vehicles daily.
