The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit to Pamar Enterprises on behalf of White Lake Township to close Farnsworth Road, from Union Lake Road to Hutchins Road, starting Wednesday, Sept. 18, through Friday, Oct. 4, to facilitate sanitary sewer repairs in the township.
Farnsworth Road will close between Northeastern Street and Little Farm Drive. Access to homes within the closure will be maintained during the work. The detour for through traffic is Union Lake Road to Hutchins Road, back to Farnsworth Road, and vice versa.
This section of Farnsworth Road carries 2,330 vehicles daily.
