The Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office (OCWRC) will close Commerce Road east of Hiller Road (just east of Leroy Lane) on the West Bloomfield Township/Orchard Lake Village border to facilitate a sewer repair July 8 through July 15.
The work is being done under a permit issued by the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC).
The detour is Hiller Road to Cooley Lake Road to Cass Elizabeth Road to Cass Lake Road to Orchard Lake Road and vice versa. This section of Commerce Road carries approximately 11,000 vehicles daily.
