  • Funding:  The $2,427,639 project is funded by by the Road Commission for Oakland County, Rochester Hills and Troy equally splitting the cost (each providing $809,213).  
    • Project details: 
      • South Blvd from Adams to Coolidge will be partially reconstructed; westbound traffic maintained and eastbound traffic will be detoured
      • South Blvd from Coolidge to Crooks will be milled and resurfaced
      • Culvert replacement just west Coolidge will require a short-term road closure
      • Americans with Disabilities Act complaint sidewalks and pedestrian signals
  • Contractor: Proline Asphalt Paving
  • Start Date: June 20
  • End Date: mid-September
  • Detour:  Yes. South Blvd will close just west of Coolidge for approximately five days to replace a culvert.   Once complete, South Blvd from Coolidge to Adams will remain closed; eastbound lanes to remain open.  
  • Detour Route:  For both closures is South Blvd. to Squirrel Road to Square Lake Road to Crooks Road, back to South Blvd and vice versa.
