Oakland County Federal Aid Committee (FAC)

The Oakland County Federal Aid Committee establishes the general guidelines for the process of allocating federal road funds to projects. The FAC also selects projects to be funded by federal aid dollars and manages the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).  Members include representatives of all cities, townships and villages in Oakland County along with the Road Commission for Oakland County, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and the Suburban Mobile Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART). The FAC meets multiple times during the year.
