The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit allowing Pamar Enterprises to close Mann Road from Clintonville Road to Sunburst Avenue on the Independence Township/Waterford Township border to through traffic June 7 through approximately July 26 to install sanitary sewer infrastructure for a private developer. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained during the closure. The detour for through traffic is Clintonville Road to Lake Angelus Road to Rohr Road, back to Mann Road and vice versa. This section of Mann Road carries approximately 2,680 vehicles daily.

The road was supposed to reopen on July 12; however, weather-related issues have delayed paving plans. The contractor is performing sanitary sewer work on behalf of a private developer.

The work is for a private development and being done under a permit issued by the RCOC.
