  • Start Date: June 18 (road will close between Auburn and M-59 ramps for bridge replacment)
  • End date for bridge reconstruction: Bridge is open to traffic (12/14/18)
  • Paving on Opdyke from Featherstone to Perry Street will take place in the spring of 2019.  (this project was part of the contractor lockout of the Operating Engineers that lasted throughout September of 2018 setting the project completion back by several weeks).  
  • City of Auburn Hills water main work will require lane closures throughout most of the project 
  • Detour: Yes, closure between Auburn Road and northbound Opdyke Road ramps to M-59 ramps for the  Opdyke Road bridge reconstruction over the Clinton River.   Detour for vehicle traffic is Auburn Road to Martin Luther King Hwy. to Featherstone or M-59, back to Opdyke Road and vice versa.  Truck traffic should use M-59 to Opdyke Road.  OPEN TO TRAFFIC ON 12/14/18
