  • Comments:
    • Project cost is $16.5 million funded mostly by federal funding, RCOC, Macomb County Department of Roads, Troy and Sterling Heights
    • Road widening from 2 lanes to 5 lanes of Dequindre Rd. (Long Lake Rd. to Burningbush Dr.)
    • Reconstructed road will include 2 through lanes in each direction and a continuous center left-turn lane and right-turn lanes at major intersections
    • New concrete curbs, curb and traffic signals
    • Significant drainage improvements
    • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant crosswalks
  • Contractor: Dan's Excavating
  • Phase 1 Start Date:  September 18, 2017
  • Phase 1 End Date:  November 8, 2017 
  • Phase 2 Start Date:  Monday, March 5, 2018
  • COMPLETE; OPEN TO TRAFFIC ON 11/12/18
***Square Lake/19 Mile/ Dequindre Road intersection is fully open to traffic as of 10/23/18
