Introductory Letter

Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Adopt-A-Road Program.

The application form needed may be obtained by clicking on the highlighted area. Other reference materials which might be useful to you in completing the application are listed below.

Please carefully review the permit conditions presented for the Adopt-A-Road Program. They are intended to make your participation in the program as productive and safe as possible.

Upon receipt of your application, the Road Commission for Oakland County will initiate its review and consider approval of your application and issuance of a permit.

PLEASE NOTE

In selecting your preferred locations, please understand that a program of litter pick-up may currently be done by abutting property owners. Many commercial and industrial establishments, as well as residential homes, maintain the rights-of-way out to the road. First consideration for adoption in such areas will be given to those "volunteers" who are currently cleaning up the right-of-way.
