Beverly Hills, Mich. — The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit allowing a contractor for the Oakland County Water Resources Commission to close Walnut Lake Road between the north and south Halsted Road intersections in West Bloomfield Township from Thursday, March 8 until approximately March 19.

The closure is needed so the contractor can replace a failing culvert that runs under the road.

During the closure, the detour route for through traffic will be Haggerty Road to Maple Road to Drake Road and vice versa.
