LEFT TURNS TO BE TEMPORARILY PROHIBITED FROM LONG LAKE RD ONTO KENSINGTON FOR RAILROAD BRIDGE REPAIR

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit allowing Canadian National (CN) railroad to make repairs to its bridge over Long Lake Road just west of Kensington Road in Bloomfield Hills.

The work will begin on Monday, May 14 Tuesday, May 15 (weather permitting)  and last approximately five weeks, concluding approximately June 18.

During the railroad-bridge repair, two-way traffic will be maintained on Long Lake Road; however, left turns onto Kensington Road from Long Lake Road in both directions will be prohibited.  

Motorists should expect some delays.
